VVA's15th Annual Car Show

Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 435 is holding their 15th Annual Car Show on June 2, 2018, from 11 am to 3 pm at the PA Soldiers' & Sailors' Home, located at 560 E 3rd St, Erie, PA. Participant entry is $5. Spectators are free. Dash Plaques are available for the first 75 paid entries, and trophies for Best in Show and Most Original will be awarded. A picnic lunch will occur between noon and 2 pm. Donations are welcomed, and a 50/50 as well as a silent auction will be going on. Proceeds will benefit Veterans and their community.

Brews, Board Games, and Banter

Team RWB will be at the Erie Brewing Company (6008 Knowledge Pkwy, Erie, PA) on June 14, 2018, starting at 7 pm. Come out, have some fun, meet new people, and try some tasty, locally brewed beverages! Weather permitting, they will be out on the patio where their dogs can join in the fun. You do not have to be a member to come.

Welcome Home Veterans Appreciation Event at the Zoo

The annual Welcome Home Veterans Appreciation Event at the Erie Zoo is coming up on Friday, July 13 from 6pm-9pm. All Veterans and their families are invited. Tickets become available starting Monday, June 11.  Tickets are FREE but limited so act fast (tickets are limited to four per Veteran). Call for or pickup tickets at the Transition & Care Management Office (814) 860-2567 at the Erie VAMC on the 1st Floor; Voluntary Service Office (814) 860-2453 at the Erie VAMC on the 2nd Floor; and Vet Center (814) 453-7955 at 240 W 11th St, Erie, PA.
