Veteran Resource Fair at Waterford American Legion

Veterans and their families are invited to attend a FREE one-stop shop to learn about VA services and community resources available during the VA Veteran Resource Fair coming up Saturday, January 20 from 1pm-4pm at the Fort LeBoeuf American Legion Post #285 located at 120 W 4th Street in Waterford.  

Veterans and their families can meet with a wide-range of VA health experts and local resources including VA health eligibility & enrollment, VA Behavioral Health Clinic staff, VA dietitians, Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) representatives, and Erie Vet Center staff.  Free blood pressure checks will also be provided.  The Erie VA Medical Center (VAMC) leadership team will also be on-site to answer questions, provide information, and address any concerns.  

Veterans who have never enrolled in VA healthcare are encouraged to bring their DD-214 service discharge papers with them to speak to an eligibility representative on-site to determine eligibility.

Brews, Board Games, and Banter

Team RWB will be at the Erie Brewing Company (6008 Knowledge Pkwy, Erie, PA) on June 14, 2018, starting at 7 pm. Come out, have some fun, meet new people, and try some tasty, locally brewed beverages! Weather permitting, they will be out on the patio where their dogs can join in the fun. You do not have to be a member to come.

Welcome Home Veterans Appreciation Event at the Zoo

The annual Welcome Home Veterans Appreciation Event at the Erie Zoo is coming up on Friday, July 13 from 6pm-9pm. All Veterans and their families are invited. Tickets become available starting Monday, June 11.  Tickets are FREE but limited so act fast (tickets are limited to four per Veteran). Call for or pickup tickets at the Transition & Care Management Office (814) 860-2567 at the Erie VAMC on the 1st Floor; Voluntary Service Office (814) 860-2453 at the Erie VAMC on the 2nd Floor; and Vet Center (814) 453-7955 at 240 W 11th St, Erie, PA.
