Produce Express Food Distributions

The Produce Express from the Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest PA offers food to struggling families. For more information, visit nwpafoodbank.org

Guidelines:

At all Produce Express distributions, please bring a proof of residency (phone bill, utility bill) as well as a box or basket to carry grocery products home.

Recipients must have income levels no greater than 150% of the federal poverty guidelines.

  • Household of 1: no more than $1485 / month
  • Household of 2: no more than $2003 / month
  • Household of 3: no more than $2520 / month
  • Household of 4: no more than $3038 / month
  • Household of 5: no more than $3555 / month

Distributions:

March 21:  Church of the Ascension, 26 Chautauqua Place, Bradford – McKean County.  2 pm distribution.  Call the church at 368-8915.

March 23:  Knox, 260 High Point Road, Knox – Clarion County. 12:15 pm distribution. First come, first served.

March 25:  Clarendon VFW, 22 Brown Ave., Clarendon – Warren County.  9 am distribution.  Sign up at the event.

March 27:  Federated Church, 11995 Main Street, E. Springfield – Erie County. 1:30 pm distribution. Call the church at 922-3655 to pre-register.

March 28:  Chapel on the Hill, 6202 Emlenton-Clintonville Rd., Emlenton – Venango County.  1 pm distribution.  Pre-register by calling the church at 724-867-6771.

March 29:  Otto Township Fire Hall, 26 Oil Valley Rd., McKean County.  1 pm distribution.  Pre-register by calling Duke Center UM Church at 966-3922.

March 31:  CM Alliance, 233 Church Street, Cambridge Springs – Crawford County.  3 pm distribution. Call 573-5987 the week before to pre-register.

Jobenomics Erie Town Hall & Press Conference

On March 22, Chuck Vollmer, author and founder of Jobenomics, will be returning to share the preliminary Jobenomics Erie program. Taking the lead will be two established and well-respected 501c3 Erie groups, Climate Changers, Inc. and the Veterans Miracle Center Erie. The Jobenomics Erie Town Hall and Press Release will be held at the Blasco Library Hirt Auditorium. Registration begins at 5pm, and the program begins at 5:30pm.
