PA 2-1-1 Northwest Erie, Venango, Warren Launched

Need help? Don’t know where to turn? Call United Way’s 2-1- 1 to learn about health, human and social services that could help you. You will be connected to a professional resource navigator who will listen to your needs and provide information on nonprofits that may be able to assist you. Dial 2-1- 1 Monday through Friday 8 AM to 430 PM or visit www.pa211nw.org to conduct your own search. You can also text your need and zip code to 898-211 to receive information by text. Its free, easy and the quickest way to find help.

On May 23, 2017, United Way launched PA 2-1-1 Northwest information and referral service in Erie, Venango, and Warren Counties. Crawford, Jefferson, McKean Counties are expected to activate PA 2-1-1 Northwest by the end of 2017, and all 12 counties in the Northwest PA region are expected to be on the statewide 2-1-1 network by the close of 2018.

Brews, Board Games, and Banter

Team RWB will be at the Erie Brewing Company (6008 Knowledge Pkwy, Erie, PA) on June 14, 2018, starting at 7 pm. Come out, have some fun, meet new people, and try some tasty, locally brewed beverages! Weather permitting, they will be out on the patio where their dogs can join in the fun. You do not have to be a member to come.

Welcome Home Veterans Appreciation Event at the Zoo

The annual Welcome Home Veterans Appreciation Event at the Erie Zoo is coming up on Friday, July 13 from 6pm-9pm. All Veterans and their families are invited. Tickets become available starting Monday, June 11.  Tickets are FREE but limited so act fast (tickets are limited to four per Veteran). Call for or pickup tickets at the Transition & Care Management Office (814) 860-2567 at the Erie VAMC on the 1st Floor; Voluntary Service Office (814) 860-2453 at the Erie VAMC on the 2nd Floor; and Vet Center (814) 453-7955 at 240 W 11th St, Erie, PA.
