Northwest PA Veteran Entrepreneurship Program Social Media & Web Design Webinar

If you are a Veteran business owner or a Veteran who would like to start a business, register for this workshop on March 28, 2018, from 10 am to 11:30 am to learn about digital marketing concepts and regional resources available to help you. The NWPA Veterans Entrepreneurship Program is a free online training program to educate and accelerate the entrepreneurial success of Veterans. This program is made possible by the Northwest PA Regional Planning and Development Commision, Clarion University SBDC, and several other regional partners.

The program will teach digital marketing concepts for a business at any scale and how to pick the right firm and develop the right strategy for your business's social media and web design.

The guest presenter will be Sean Fedorko. He represents Wekbot Studios, a digital marketing agency providing in-house database, app, and web development as well as managed digital marketing campaigns and content creation. He is also co-founder of Radius, Erie's PA's coworking space for freelancers, remote workers, and start-ups.

Brews, Board Games, and Banter

Team RWB will be at the Erie Brewing Company (6008 Knowledge Pkwy, Erie, PA) on June 14, 2018, starting at 7 pm. Come out, have some fun, meet new people, and try some tasty, locally brewed beverages! Weather permitting, they will be out on the patio where their dogs can join in the fun. You do not have to be a member to come.

Welcome Home Veterans Appreciation Event at the Zoo

The annual Welcome Home Veterans Appreciation Event at the Erie Zoo is coming up on Friday, July 13 from 6pm-9pm. All Veterans and their families are invited. Tickets become available starting Monday, June 11.  Tickets are FREE but limited so act fast (tickets are limited to four per Veteran). Call for or pickup tickets at the Transition & Care Management Office (814) 860-2567 at the Erie VAMC on the 1st Floor; Voluntary Service Office (814) 860-2453 at the Erie VAMC on the 2nd Floor; and Vet Center (814) 453-7955 at 240 W 11th St, Erie, PA.
