MyVA Community Engagement Board Meet & Greet

On Thursday, February 9th from 4:30 to 6:00pm, the board members of the newly formed Your Veteran Community Outreach & Action Team invite the community to attend an informal meet & greet to meet with board members and learn about plans for the future of the MyVA Community group. The event will be held at the Erie VA Medical Center Main Lobby. Light refreshments will be served.

 

Now that the board is fully established, they would like to meet with Veterans, service members, and their families to get a better sense of what their needs are so we can align our efforts to address those needs. Veterans, service members, their family members, and community members are welcome to attend.

Brews, Board Games, and Banter

Team RWB will be at the Erie Brewing Company (6008 Knowledge Pkwy, Erie, PA) on June 14, 2018, starting at 7 pm. Come out, have some fun, meet new people, and try some tasty, locally brewed beverages! Weather permitting, they will be out on the patio where their dogs can join in the fun. You do not have to be a member to come.

Welcome Home Veterans Appreciation Event at the Zoo

The annual Welcome Home Veterans Appreciation Event at the Erie Zoo is coming up on Friday, July 13 from 6pm-9pm. All Veterans and their families are invited. Tickets become available starting Monday, June 11.  Tickets are FREE but limited so act fast (tickets are limited to four per Veteran). Call for or pickup tickets at the Transition & Care Management Office (814) 860-2567 at the Erie VAMC on the 1st Floor; Voluntary Service Office (814) 860-2453 at the Erie VAMC on the 2nd Floor; and Vet Center (814) 453-7955 at 240 W 11th St, Erie, PA.
