Making $ense of Finance

Holly Petraeus, who leads the office of Servicemember Affairs at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, will host an event in Erie on Saturday designed to address the financial needs of veterans and military members.

The FREE event, "Making Sense of Finance," will be held on Saturday, August 22nd from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Zem Zem Shrine Club, 2525 W. 38th St.

The event is free to members of the military, veterans, and their spouses and partners.

Brews, Board Games, and Banter

Team RWB will be at the Erie Brewing Company (6008 Knowledge Pkwy, Erie, PA) on June 14, 2018, starting at 7 pm. Come out, have some fun, meet new people, and try some tasty, locally brewed beverages! Weather permitting, they will be out on the patio where their dogs can join in the fun. You do not have to be a member to come.

Welcome Home Veterans Appreciation Event at the Zoo

The annual Welcome Home Veterans Appreciation Event at the Erie Zoo is coming up on Friday, July 13 from 6pm-9pm. All Veterans and their families are invited. Tickets become available starting Monday, June 11.  Tickets are FREE but limited so act fast (tickets are limited to four per Veteran). Call for or pickup tickets at the Transition & Care Management Office (814) 860-2567 at the Erie VAMC on the 1st Floor; Voluntary Service Office (814) 860-2453 at the Erie VAMC on the 2nd Floor; and Vet Center (814) 453-7955 at 240 W 11th St, Erie, PA.
