FREE Flu Shots for Veterans

Erie VA Medical Center (VAMC), and its Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs), is once again hosting FREE Saturday flu clinics to Veterans eligible for VA healthcare.  During the Saturday flu clinics, drive-thru services will be available for Veterans with limited mobility. 

Yes, we said drive-thru flu shots!  Veterans eligible for VA healthcare can simply drive up, hold their arm out the window, and receive the flu shot.  It's that simple!

Walk-in Flu Clinics

Starting Monday, September 19

Starting Monday, Sept. 19, walk-in flu clinics will be available M-F at the Erie VAMC from 1pm-3pm and at the CBOCs from 8am-3pm.  For all the latest flu information, please stay tuned to the Flu Hotline at 814-860-2730 or visit www.erie.va.gov/flu.

Brews, Board Games, and Banter

Team RWB will be at the Erie Brewing Company (6008 Knowledge Pkwy, Erie, PA) on June 14, 2018, starting at 7 pm. Come out, have some fun, meet new people, and try some tasty, locally brewed beverages! Weather permitting, they will be out on the patio where their dogs can join in the fun. You do not have to be a member to come.

Welcome Home Veterans Appreciation Event at the Zoo

The annual Welcome Home Veterans Appreciation Event at the Erie Zoo is coming up on Friday, July 13 from 6pm-9pm. All Veterans and their families are invited. Tickets become available starting Monday, June 11.  Tickets are FREE but limited so act fast (tickets are limited to four per Veteran). Call for or pickup tickets at the Transition & Care Management Office (814) 860-2567 at the Erie VAMC on the 1st Floor; Voluntary Service Office (814) 860-2453 at the Erie VAMC on the 2nd Floor; and Vet Center (814) 453-7955 at 240 W 11th St, Erie, PA.
