Erie VA to host Voice of the Veteran Town Hall Meeting

1/9/2015 (Erie, PA) –Erie VA Medical Center (VAMC) invites Veterans, their families, and community stakeholders to attend a Voice of the Veteran Town Hall Meeting on Thursday, March 19th from 5:30pm-7pm. 

What:               Voice of the Veteran Town Hall Meeting.  During the meeting, Veterans and their families can share positive VA experiences with and suggest improvement opportunities to VA staff regarding services offered at the Erie VAMC.

When:              Thursday, March 19th from 5:30pm-7pm

Where:             Jack Greer Memorial Post 52 located at 13240 Dunham Road in Meadville, PA

Erie VAMC’s goal is to deliver care that not only meets patients’ needs, but exceeds their expectations.  This session allows staff the opportunity to collect patient feedback on what areas are functioning well and what areas may need improvement.  Feedback will then be used to help direct Erie VAMCs organizational planning.

In efforts to collect more patient feedback, Erie VAMC will continue hosting Town Hall meetings throughout the communities we serve on a quarterly basis.  Erie VAMC is committed to providing exceptional patient-centered health care to our Nation’s heroes.

Brews, Board Games, and Banter

Team RWB will be at the Erie Brewing Company (6008 Knowledge Pkwy, Erie, PA) on June 14, 2018, starting at 7 pm. Come out, have some fun, meet new people, and try some tasty, locally brewed beverages! Weather permitting, they will be out on the patio where their dogs can join in the fun. You do not have to be a member to come.

Welcome Home Veterans Appreciation Event at the Zoo

The annual Welcome Home Veterans Appreciation Event at the Erie Zoo is coming up on Friday, July 13 from 6pm-9pm. All Veterans and their families are invited. Tickets become available starting Monday, June 11.  Tickets are FREE but limited so act fast (tickets are limited to four per Veteran). Call for or pickup tickets at the Transition & Care Management Office (814) 860-2567 at the Erie VAMC on the 1st Floor; Voluntary Service Office (814) 860-2453 at the Erie VAMC on the 2nd Floor; and Vet Center (814) 453-7955 at 240 W 11th St, Erie, PA.
